About us
Yume (pronounced yü-maë or you-may) means dream in Japanese. Yume Magazine is an independently made, free local publication in Geelong by two boys with a love for creativity.
Our goal is simply to share with you as much wonderful work from artists, designers and photographers close to home and from the other side of the globe.
A limited number of physical magazines are free to pick up from a small list of stores around Geelong and Melbourne and is uploaded online as a free digital magazine. It is also available for purchase online for those that missed out or out of our distribution area and still want a copy of the real thing, with all proceeds going towards each next issue.
We aim to release a brand new issue every quarter. However being an independent magazine sometimes life and work can get in the way so, so please be patient. In the meantime you can always come back here for your fix of latest art, design and photography and to keep up with all the latest news regarding Yume.
If you have any questions, queries, contributions, or anything at all, feel free to email Luke (photographer) at yumemag@live.com.au or Henry (designer and creative director) at yumeart@yahoo.com
