just stumbled upon yume via a link off of Dres13's site... love his work and I absolutely love the content you guys are posting. Great find! I'm curious... how do you guys go about featuring artists in yume issues? Do artists submit work... or do you contact them? check out my tumblr site if you get a chance.... hope you enjoy.

Hi Charlie. Both ways, we are always keeping an eye out for cool artists and photographers but of course we can’t see everything so we love it when people get in contact with us too! You can email me (Henry) or Luke for more details, our contact info is on our ‘about’ page. Great work too btw!!

“In 1983, a local TV station held a contest for anyone who wanted a chance at reporting the weather. My role was to take head shots of contestants after each screen test. Five winners were chosen out of nearly one hundred applicants. The pictures were never used, but I developed the negatives anyway (without proofing them). These images had been lost until recently and I am seeing them for the very first time.” - Michael Jang
